If we sum it up before we begin, simply put, we brought Dexter cattle to the ranch because out of all of our options, we felt that they would serve you best!

One of the more common concerns with grass-fed beef is that (as healthy as it is) it can be lean but at the same time DRY and tough.  One of the reasons we fell in love with Dexters is because you can expect a great marbling and tenderness along with an amazingly rich flavor!   1. We love knowing that the beef is packed with omega 3s from all of the grass that they are eating. (Instead of the more common omega 6 that you get when eating corn-fed meats)

  6. We love the small size of Dexter Cattle.  This means smaller cuts that are easier to manage for individual meal prep and offers a realistic and healthy portion.
  7. Dexter beef is very rich and vibrant.  Just to look at this meat you can tell a difference from the meat you can get in the local grocery store.  This meat is darker and more vibrant in color.  You will also taste the difference.  Dexter beef is… well… you just have to TRY IT!
